The 2018 Coolideas Magalies MTB & Trail Running Adventure

Welcome to the 2018 edition of The Coolideas Magalies MTB & Trail Running Adventure. Started in 2008, The Cool Ideas Magalies Adventure has a wonderful pedigree. It’s the oldest race in The Leverage Corporation stable, and it’s back with a vengeance in 2018.

This year, The Cool Ideas Magalies Adventure is scheduled to take place on the 29th and 30th of September 2018. And this year the Cool Ideas Magalies Adventure will offer participants a choice of both Mountain Biking and Trail Running.

The Cool Ideas Magalies Adventure is known as being tough, offering some great riding and running, something you should be used to from The Leverage Corporation.



We are pleased to host this event at Mount Grace – The African Pride Mount Grace Country House and Spa – situated in the heart of the Magaliesburg region. We will be based at The Cog & Sprocket, the Mount Grace Cycling Hub.

So, if you have a few plans in October or November to climb a Berg, or ride through a Bush, perhaps, drink some Wine or look for some Whales, The 2018 Cool Ideas Magalies Adventure will put you on track and ensure you are fit and ready for what the months may bring.

Special new exciting distances introduced.

Saturday Trail Run - we have now introduced a 25km route.

Sunday MTB - we have now introduced a 16km and a 25km route - the first 50 entries for each new MTB distance get a really “Cool” deal where you only pay 50 bucks for your entry.
